I loved this piece, not facetious, not silly. Never did figure out if you were being facetious about being facetious. For me the questions constituted a serious inquiry into the nature of being and consciousness. Good work and thank you for sharing.

You are right that facetious is the wrong word. I should have said flippant. I just didn’t want to offend any of my friends and family who are people of faith.
