Art and Archaeology in the American Funny Pages

As many of my friends and family members know all too well–I’ve been talking about almost nothing else for three years!–as a retirement (and now pandemic) project since I moved to Spain, I have been working on a collection of art- and archaeology-themed cartoons and comic strips my wife and I clipped out of our local Boston and New Hampshire newspapers from 2011 to 2017. After several trips “back to the drawing board” I have finally finished a draft of Art and Archaeology in the American Funny Pages.

I am now in the process of sending out book proposals to see if there is anyone interested in publishing a thousand-page book with sixteen hundred figures! I have, therefore, taken my draft off of this website.
